Since 1997 the Italian company Orion has been developing first-class ambulances and special vehicles for rescue services. From the very beginning, it was clear to the Orion team that customers, their needs and feedback are the basis for creating safe, modern and innovative special vehicles. This is especially important for ambulances that are used in extreme conditions. Rescuers who work under pressure on a daily basis need reliable transport with such components that interact with each other without problems. Undoubtedly, dialog is a stimulus to progress in this field.

Orion’s customers can design the interior of special vehicles in the company’s own design office. In this case, every detail is unique and, as they say, hits the target. Every buyer is offered such service as “Tailoring”. This is the company’s self-pride as no other company in Europe can offer this kind of service to their clients.

With nearly 25 years of experience in the industry, Orion is a master of its craft with outstanding results. This is the only Italian company in the field with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and SA8000 certificates. Nevertheless, the company doesn’t rest on its oars. On the area of 9000 m² ambulances are constantly inspected and improved.

In 2020 the company manufactured 670 ambulances and special vehicles to transport the disabled. Also, the company received about 4800 orders from the suppliers and 2390 manufacturing orders for custom-made decisions.

Today, 90 percent of vehicles, manufactured by Orion, are sold in Italy. However, the company is determined to conquer other European and Eastern European markets.
