Commission to faciliatate catching road offenders

The European Commission has adopted a directive proposition aiming to facilitate the cross-border pursuit of road infringements which endanger safety. The proposed directive will cover four types of infringement: speeding, drink-driving, not wearing seat-belts and jumping red lights.
